This month, we bring you the Top Gear Awards, the definitive last word on the best cars of 2013 - the cars we believe have stood out from the crowd over the last twelve months.
In addition to announcing this year’s winners, we’re also giving every reader the incredible Top Gear Supercar 2014 Calendar. It has been a strong year for home-grown talent, with the glorious expression of no limits that is the McLaren P1, Ford’s redeveloped brilliant hot hatch – the Fiesta ST – the long-awaited Jaguar F-Type, the Range Rover Sport and the Rolls-Royce Wraith.
The Germans have also had a great year, with Mercedes-Benz giving us the fire-breathing SLS AMG Black Series and a truly refined S-Class. Innovations have come from Volkswagen with the futuristic XL-1 concept and from BMW with the very much here and now i3. Then there’s Porsche, which has given us a number of worthy Award-winners in 2013.
Also included in our mix are an even-faster Ferrari, some American non-muscle, bargains, family options and a lawnmower.
We also bring you Jeremy, James and Richard’s Cars of the Year – as well as our coveted overall Car of the Year 2013.
