  1. Seems like barely a month goes past without a new issue of Top Gear Magazine hitting the shelves. So best peel yourself away from your computer for a few minutes and go grab a copy. Here’s a taste of what you’ll find inside…

  2. We’ve got a posh new Jag to kick off this month’s Metal section. It’s the new XJ and we rather like it, though its radical bum is proving a bit controversial.

  3. Anyone recognise this guy? We’ve got the inside story of what happened when Stig removed his lid, and what he thought about driving his FXX around the Top Gear track.

  4. Check out this beauty – it’s the new Aston DBS Volante and it’s ours. Well, it was, for a couple of days. Before we gave it back, we put a few hundred miles on the clock to see if it was any good.

  5. The DBS wasn’t the only thing we got topless this month. It’s summer time, so we’ve gathered some of the coolest drop-tops for a bit of a blast. The new Ferrari Scuderia Spider and Lambo Gallardo Spyder set the tone…

  8. Back in the real world, we drive the Fiat 500 convertible. Look, that’s the back of Tom Ford’s head, shot through the 500’s retro roll-top.

  9. Also in the real word, we drive VW’s answer to the Mazda MX-5. It’s called the Bluesport and yep, it’s a convertible. In fact, you’ll do well to spot a fixed roof in this entire issue…

  10. …except on the Aston One-77. We’re the first in the world to fire it up and hear all of its 12 cylinders and 750 horespowers. We had a good poke around it too, and took some nice pictures to show you what a million-quid car should look like.

  11. And as if all that wasn’t enough, we went to Le Mans with Aston Martin and spent the whole race lurking in their garage. Driver Darren Turner was our guide, and we spent the whole race in his pocket. It was hot in there.
