You are here

On the last sunny day of the year, your two favourite Top Gear presenters whose names begin with the letter “’J” headed to Dunsfold to reveal to the world’s press the details of this year’s Top Gear Live tour.

Full details of Top Gear Live are here: this year’s extravaganza includes the first ever transparent car, Porsches transformed beyond all recognition and a custom made ‘Godzilla’ Nissan GT-R going head to head with a police helicopter. Indoors. Plus, the three presenters having the time of their lives.

Here are the confirmed dates so far, and you can book your tickets here (they’re going fast, so we’d recommend haste):

UK & Ireland
London, Earls Court: 4-7 November 2010
Birmingham, NEC: 11-14 November 2010
Dublin, CityWest Event Centre: 26-28 November 2010

Brisbane, Brisbane Entertainment Centre: 3-6 March 2011
Melbourne, Melbourne Showgrounds: 11-14 March 2011

South Africa
Johannesburg, Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit: 17-20 March 2011

Oslo, venue tbc: 24-27 March 2011

As it was a unseasonably warm, we obviously decided to commandeer the 747 often seen lurking by the back straight of the Top Gear track, pull up the blinds, hope the air conditioning still worked (it didn’t), and see what they’d been up to.

Excuse the rather rudimentary nature of the film – not up to the usual polished standards, we’re afraid. Filming two men chatting on a plane proved harder than we thought.
