If you’ve been keeping up with James May’s activities recently, you’ll know that our James has a certain fondness for retro amusements.

It’s one that spurred him on to making a TV series – who can forget a house made entirely of Lego in Toy Stories? – and now James has found another way to share his passion: by holding a toy fair.

The Top Gear boys are enjoying getting out among the people who they make telly for of late – Top Gear Live, that art exhibition – and James will be curating his toy fair this Saturday in Camden, London.

He’ll be on hand for a Q&A session, and you’ll even get the chance to race him at Scalextric.

Plus you’ll be able to take part in a Meccano model building competition, build an Airfix model and create your own Plasticine flower - and that’s
just the start.

UPDATE: the fair has literally just sold out, so if you’re going, let us know.
