Show two of the new series sees Clarkson, Hammond and May saving the planet. Again.

In this week’s big film they build their own electric car, and then put their latest ‘green’ creation through the rigours of the new car testing process.

Out on track, Jeremy pits the Corvette ZR1’s muscle against the finesse of Audi’s R8 V10 - and Stig’s been working hard on a damp track this morning to work out where they sit on the lap board.

The Star in a Reasonably Priced Car is Hollywood’s hottest new property, Frost/Nixon and Damned United star Michael Sheen. We were trackside filming behind the scenes for (log on Sunday night right after the credits roll for that) and we think it’s safe to say he was ‘committed’.

More on that brave action this Sunday - don’t forget the time is still the new 9 o’clock slot. In the meantime, make a note to check tomorrow for our exclusive behind the scenes gallery…

And if you missed the first show, then hit up the BBC iPlayer here on this blue bit.
