That's it for series 17... Jeremy and James give their verdict, plus post-show discussion

Well, there you have it: the final show of our current run. What have we learned? The presenters can’t agree on the Lamborghini Aventador, Louis Walsh has surprisingly decent taste in music, the current crop of electric cars are the new laser discs, and the injured boys in the Armed Forces Rally team are truly inspirational. I’m sure you’ll join us in wishing them the very best of luck in their quest to finish the Dakar Rally - if you want to follow their journey, head to the Race to Recovery website and the Project Mobility 4x4 site.

We hope you enjoyed the show, and indeed the entire series. We’re all off to sleep for a few weeks before beginning preparations for number 18…
