After all, how else are your impulses supposed to react when faced with a 6.3-litre V12 producing 730bhp and 509lb ft of torque, and performance figures of 0-62mph in 3.1 seconds, 0-124mph in 8.5 seconds and a top speed of 211mph?
In fact, Ferrari tells us the new F12 Berlinetta has lapped its private test circuit - Fiorano - in just… well, that’d be telling, wouldn’t it?
