The Top Gear car review:Hyundai i30

Overall verdict
The first one was good, and this one is even better. Hyundai’s i30 goads the Golf with a very well judged refresh.

Impressive update of an already impressive car

Not the most exciting machine to drive

What is it?

This second-generation Hyundai i30 is very much an evolution of the original. That caused a stir amongst European makers and Hyundai’s hoping this will carry on doing so. This time, a three-door Hyundai i30 Coupe option joins the five-door.
