Tough luck if you own a French car - Peugeot, Citroen and Renault all lurk in the bottom ten
To use the term 'shock' in relation to Peugeot's piss-poor placing may well rate as an exaggeration - the French firm performed just as badly last time around.
As naff as Skoda is good, Peugeot racked up three positions in the bottom ten - and came last overall in the manufacturer listing.
Citroen and Renault fared little better. The Laguna clawed back a few places from last year's result but still finished 143rd, while the Megane only managed a woeful fourth from bottom - just behind Citroen's C8.
It wasn't just the French manufacturers getting a kicking, though. Mercedes' A-Class and M-Class both put in bad performances, proof of how disastrously Benz lost the plot a few years back.

No area of fit, finish or reliability ranks above awful for this heap
