On our way again after Pat got pulled at well over the ton. We stopped as I tried to lever the radar detector off its mounts before the cop saw it. He's shaking with rage. The cop, not Pat.

Funny - we thought he was going to have a pop at the modified Civic that was tailgating us for the last few miles. Pat just seemed to stare him down.

The phone rang as the cop stood by the window - I reached for it and the cop freaked, making me sit with my hands on the dash. He obviously thought my Motorola was a deadly weapon. Oops.

Escaped without a ticket, but I was so wired that didn't press record on the video! Didn't get any pictures either - would you?

Turned out the phone call is MH to say that EPB was caught too, racking up a series of fines for being a very bad person. Serendipitous timing and all that.

Our cop kept asking if we were racing. We assured him not, then find out that a kind of Cannonball run analogue called the 'Bullrun' was only a few weeks ago. I'm starting to think the law might be a bigger problem than we thought.

Text from EPB saying that they're back at the side of the road trying to sweet talk another cop. We're warned to slow down, though we, er, don't. I really need the toilet. Energy drink is wanting out.

Another fuel stop - we're on fumes in the S-Type. We manage to find the only gas station with no toilet.

As I dip behind the station itself and then go inside to get some water, the boys variously enter and ask where the restrooms are. Turning bright red, I shush them and point outside. The lady at the counter looks unimpressed. I have just relieved myself against the back wall, realising just in time that I'm doing so on the live wires of the generator. Er...
