Aston or Ferrari? Which is coolest?

Vote by buying one of two special edition covers on the January issue of Top Gear magazine - and by emailing us with your reasons

So, who are you for? Ferrari or Aston? Do 'rosso corsa' corpuscles race through your arteries at full chat, or is your blood blue and travels like it's had deportment lessons?

Are you up for a 200-mile sprint or a 24-hour race? Do you dream of being Schumacher or James Bond? Who do you think was coolest, Danny Wild or Sir Brett Sinclair?

It's the question we're asking on the cover of the January issue of Top Gear magazine - and you get to cast your vote by buying a mag with either a Ferrari or an Aston on the front.

Simple. But it doesn't stop there. We're also after your feedback here at TopGear.com. Let us know whether you think Aston or Ferrari is coolest by emailing via the links below - and tell us why. Just like we did with the Sexiest Cars feature, we'll run the results in a future issue of the magazine.

Vote Aston

Vote Ferrari

'Are you up for a 200-mile sprint or a 24-hour race? Do you dream of being Schumacher or James Bond?'

A significant piece of research into the debate has been underway for more than five years now in a hangar in Surrey. We call it the 'Cool Wall' - and it indicates that Aston has an edge.

As it stands there's an Enzo in 'cool', but a DB9 in 'sub zero' and a V8 Vantage in the fridge.

And if you need any more help, check out the mag - Ferrari highlights include Schumacher in a FXX versus our boy Piers in a 360 on the track at Monza, Tom Ford and a 599 versus the Andes, and a first drive of Pininfarina P4/5.

Aston-wise, we've got world exclusive first pics of the gorgeous V8 Vantage Roadster, and driving (and crashing) the V8 race car. It wasn't us...

But that's all our opinion - and now we want yours. So get voting.
