Top racing drivers regularly use GT4 tracks for circuit practice before going out and doing the real thing, too - according to its developers, a professional driver was invited to set times on the Nurburgring Nordschliefe in a range of cars featured on GT4, and the lap times were all within a couple of percentages of the real thing. Yes, it's that realistic.
There's lots more still to be confirmed, but we know it'll feature a bunch of new cars including the Ferrari F430, Evo X, Nissan GT-R and BMW 135i Coupe, while the tracks will include Suzuka, Fuki and the Daytona International Speedway.

Oh, and the Top Gear test track in all its sinuous glory... giving you the chance to prove just how quick you are round the Hammerhead, Gambon and the rest.
It'll also feature a host of clips from the Top Gear telly show which you'll be able to see in Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, due in the UK in the spring of next year just to whet your appetite for the full version.
That's likely to arrive at the end of 2008, which means you'd better get cracking on learning every curve and apex of the Top Gear track. Now all we need to do is convince Sony to include the Chevrolet Lacetti...
