Taxi 2: Schumi's in trouble

Schumi's in trouble. Although the F1 legend's minicab exploits last week earned him major kudos in the TG office, it seems the German police didn't take so kindly to his impromptu taxi takeover.

A report in German newspaper Bild says that police from the Coburg traffic authority are looking into Schumacher's high-speed airport run, while taxi driver Tuncer Yilmaz is also to be questioned about his involvement in the matter.

Schumacher believes that the whole affair has been blown out of all proportion. "You just have to laugh about it," he told journalists at the Race of Champions this weekend, before winning the Nations Cup with Sebastien Vettel and then reaching the final of the individual event.

However, the German traffic authorities aren't laughing.

Coburg policeman Kai Holland told Bild: "That was an offence against transport laws. We will have a hearing with the taxi driver to resolve the matter."

A German policeman without a sense of humour. What are the chances?
