Tiny, shiny and seriously bling

Want to turn your child into the blingest little pat-a-cake playa in the playground? Top Gear may have the answer.

This is the most expensive Hot Wheels model ever, unveiled at the American Toy Fair in New York (we really, really want to go) to celebrate 40 years of Hot Wheels history.

Valued at some £70,000, the car is cast in 18-carat white gold and covered in more than 2,700 diamonds, which weigh nearly 23 carats. The Hot Wheels logo on the underside of the car is lined with white and black diamonds, while the tail lights are made of red rubies.

The 1:5 scale model, the four billionth Hot Wheels car ever made (four billion! We still can't get our heads around that fact) was designed by 'celebrity jeweller' Jason Arasheben of Beverly Hills, and will be auctioned off for charity.

We expect to see a Master Brooklyn Beckham at the front of the auction house.
