Minter Continental

Italian coachbuilder Zagato has given the Bentley Continental GT Speed a rather glam makeover and created the GTZ.

Most notably, there's now a double-bubble roof, a round tail with integrated lights, and arches that look even more imposing than on the original.

The more rounded rear harks back to one of Zagato's best-loved early works, the Aston Martin DB4 GT, that previewed at the 1960 London motor show.

It's all very superficial, however - under the new clothes is the same engine as in the regular Speed, so it keeps its 600bhp 6.0-lite W12.

Zagato says it doesn't have any immediate plans to build the GTZ, though it will gauge reaction from its unveiling at this week's Geneva motor show and take it from there.

But like it or loath it, you've got to admit it's rather striking.
