The last time a foreign car manufacturer won a NASCAR race was back in 1954, when Al Keller won at Linden Airport, New Jersey in a Jaguar.
But yesterday at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch and team-mate Tony Stewart scored a 1-2 for Toyota. It was the Japanese manufacturer's first trip down victory lane.
Perhaps Toyota Camrys are cool after all?
Scot Dario Franchitti, competing in his first NASCAR season, finished 31st and four laps down after scraping the wall on a couple of occasions.
