Mirror of truth

For all those people insufficiently blessed with the brainpower to imagine what they look like sitting in their car (hint: rather like someone else sitting in your car, but with your own face) Chevrolet reckons it has the answer.

The not-related-to-Daewoo-in-any-way-honest manufacturer has set up a 'fitting room' at one of its London dealerships, complete with three giant mirrors and a drive-on turntable.

No kidding. The idea is that prospective buyers can 'try on' the car for size, to find out what they look like.

We'll save you the effort, prospective buyers. Sitting in a Chevrolet? You look like a wallet-conscious pragmatist. That's as nice as we can be. Sorry.
