Hard to fathom

Were you fooled? Did you look at the pictures of the Vauxhall Tigra Sport Rouge and think, "oh, they're doing the Tigra with a soft-top now?"

Don't be ridiculous. That would be a rational, sensible explanation. See, the Sport Rouge isn't actually a soft-top. It's the Tigra's standard folding hard-top... wrapped in gaudy red fabric. It's a folding landau.

Vauxhall says the Sport Rouge caters for 'those who love the look of a fabric soft-top but who also want the convenience, security and safety of a hard-top'. Do these people exist? And, if they do, should they really be listened to?

Intriguingly, Vauxhall also tells us that the Sport Rouge is 'the perfect way to banish those winter blues'. In late April?

This is an absurd solution to a problem that doesn't exist. Can't decide between a cup of tea and a cup of coffee? Why not try both in the same mug?
