It's game over for Japanese Formula One squad Super Aguri today after they failed to find a suitable backer to continue in the sport.
Team founder Aguri Suzuki pulled the plug after proving unsuccessful when trying 'to establish a way to continue'.
This leaves Brit Anthony Davidson and Japanese favourite Takuma Sato without drives for the rest of the season.
Super Aguri's future had been in doubt since April's Bahrain GP, yet they managed to secure help from chassis supplier Honda while they pursued a rescue package.
German car firm Weigl were hopeful of stepping in to save Super Aguri, but that all came to nothing during this past weekend.
Earlier warning signs were there when Aguri lost financial backing from sponsor SS United even before this season began. Then it was announced that customer cars were to be outlawed, which cast doubt on SA's relationship with Honda.
Super Aguri have been part of the F1 circus for two years and four months, scoring their first points after 22 races.
