Big feet? Big lawsuit

You know what they say about big feet; don't drive a Volvo C70. A German judge has ordered a Volvo dealership to compensate a man with size 12 feet because he couldn't operate the accelerator pedal on his new convertible.

Michael Herzog, from the town of Wiesloch, was awarded £1,350 to buy a specially made pair of trainers that would allow him to drive the convertible, and was also compensated for the time he would spend changing back into street shoes afterwards.

We're intrigued to see what this special pair of shoes looks like. We imagine some sort of winklepicker arrangement.

The court ruled that Herzog's feet 'were not abnormally large', and that Volvo should have catered for his ample appendages.
