Want to see the first official shot of the new Porsche Panamera? So did we, until we realised it was parked behind a wall.

All you can make out of this all-new four-door saloon is the nose - and the delightful announcement by Porsche that it will, in fact, seat four adults. Brilliant.

To be fair, this teaser picture kicks off a bigger publicity drive from Porsche for the new car with video, the odd hard-to-find spy shot, official podcast and, we kid you not, an exclusive Panamera Jazz song.

So, as we wait for the final chapter to unfold in probably the most drawn-out car launch we can remember, TG's best guess work on the detail of the Panamera remains.
