It's the end of the line for the Mercedes McLaren SLR, so here's a special edition to commemorate it: the 722 S Roadster.

Like the 722 coupe, the Roadster gets a 650bhp supercharged 5.5-litre V8, and with a top speed of 220.6mph, that's one fast piece of open topped kit.

If you wear a toupee, you should probably leave the idea of buying one of these well alone.

Although saying that, happily for you bald of pate types, the soft top will be able to withstand 200mph+ speeds, so it's not all bad news.

Just don't put the roof down on the autobahn.

The ride will be dropped by 10mm front and back, and there will only be 150 examples made.

If you fancy one, then they'll be available from the beginning of next year.
