Morgan is planning to unveil a new four-seater version of its classic Roadster sports car at the Geneva motor show in March 2006.

The four-seater has yet to be given a name, but it will use the 145bhp, 2.0-litre engine or the 3.0 V6 already used in the Roadster.

Morgan's traditional build methods will continue to be employed, although the company hopes the new model will help attract a wider audience for its sports car range.

Production will begin shortly after Geneva and prices are expected to begin at £30,000.
