The enfant terrible of the hot hatch world is back and packing more poke than ever before.
The Clio Renaultsport has all the advantages of the French firm's latest supermini, but with a mule kick 197bhp under the bonnet from its 2.0-litre engine.
There's also a smattering of Formula One technology thrown in, with a rear diffuser that sucks air from under the car, helped along by exhaust pipes that sit flush with the diffuser's skin.
All of this helps the hot Clio see off 0-62mph in 6.9 seconds and top out at 134mph.
Inside, the Sport has similar glitzy detailing to the previous generation model.
There are alloy pedals, huggy Recaro sports seats and an aluminium finish around the main instruments.
The Clio Renaultsport goes on sale at the end of March and should cost around the £16,000 mark, undercutting many of its rivals.
