Sports car goes green

If you want a sports car but the eco-loons have pricked your conscience, the tzero from AC Propulsion could be for you. This compact sports car will crack 0-62mph in 4.1 seconds while using clean, green electricity.

The tzero's electric motor which produces 200bhp, as well as its lightweight construction lead to the company's claim that it's the fastest electric vehicle in the world.

There are, however, a few snags that might make your petrol-powered machine sit easier on your conscience. We're talking the tzero's proposed £125,000 price tag, its range of just 100 miles at 60mph and the small matter that the tzero has not yet been approved for production in the USA.

Oh, and you would have to import one from America.
