The BMW 3-Series continues its roll-out of engine and body derivatives with the introduction of the 318i and 318d Touring models.

The petrol 318i comes in at £21,645 and the diesel variant at £22,675.

Those buyers picking petrol enjoy a slightly shorter 0-62mph time, while diesel customers benefit from 48.7mpg economy compared with the petrol's 37.2mpg.
