
The standard Ford Mustang looks OK, but an Italian styling house with the pedigree of Giugiaro was always going to make it look better. Scissor doors, a tighter tail end and completely refashioned body turn the Mustang into a true Italian exotic.
Rumours circulating around the show speculated on whether or not this concept was a very direct pointer to the next Mustang, due for release at the end of the decade. That would seem to make sense, especially given the fact that this styling exercise was built on a fully functional Mustang chassis.
