What to look for
The immediate impression BMWs give off is one of superior build quality. Or at least they did until the X3 turned up. It's scarcely been around long enough to fall apart, this one, but BMW's budgeting is still transparent in the X3's flimsy interior. Off-roading is a no-no too, so look for any tell-tale signs of the rough.
Used Prices
There's lots of early, former lease cars around meaning prices are on the decline. £19,000 is now possible for an early 2.0d SE but a two-year old 3.0 sport auto will still top £22,000.
