BMW 325ti Sport Compact
Chichester, London, Hertfordshire. This doesn't have quite the jet-set ring of New York, Paris and Rome, but our BMW 325ti has jetted me to all those first three places with a degree of swiftness and style. I admit I've been hogging this car of late - to the chagrin of my colleagues - but once I get attached, I can get quite possessive (must speak to my therapist about this. When I get one). And when those late October gales left my house without power for three days, the Compact became an awfully nice place to be - secure, warm and with a working stereo. So what's it been like to drive? Great, thanks. No problems, touch wood. Just a great sound from the engine and a great chassis. But, being rear-wheel drive, I've been grateful on more than one occasion for the traction-control system; normally in the wet. So that's a good reason to check the tyres, as if I needed another one.
