Watch out for suspensions problems and electrical niggles and, as ever, insist on a full service history
What to look for
Although basically a solid car,
the C5 can suffer from small
niggles. These mainly involve the
electrics and it isn't unknown
for the electric windows to stop
working completely. Make sure
the car has a full service history
to ensure that the complicated
Hydrastine suspension has been
properly cared for.
Used Prices
The heavy discounts Citroen has
offered in the past have had an
effect on the C5's used values. A
three year-old 2.2 HDI Exclusive is
already worth a staggering £12,000
less than when it was new.
