All good, basically, but pre-1998 Mazda MX-5s should be avoided, as should dodgy imports
What to look for
Tempting though it may be,
steer clear of the sub-five grand
cheap MX-5s as they're likely to end
up costing you. But go for the
previous generation (post-1998),
and you've got a solid bit of finely
balanced fun. Make sure the roof
is sound as that's pricey to replace
and insist on a full Mazda history.
Used Prices
With there being a big difference
between the new car's prices
and the last of the old model's
used values, two to four year old
examples are still popular. This
means are making more money
than our prices below suggest.
