Volkswagen Touran

Volkswagen Touran

A decent used buy, especially as the VW Touran is losing value quicker than most of its Volkswagen brethren

What to look for
Like the VW Golf Plus with which it shares its underpinnings, the Volkswagen Touran is a bit too new to have revealed any major faults. But like the Golf on which they are both based, you can be confident that the Touran is well-built, nicely finished and blessed with a hardy range of engines, the best of which are the diesels.

Used prices
This is the only VW where its badge isn't helping its residuals. A 12 month old 1.9 TDi seven five-seater SE is worth £14,800, despite having a new price of £17,800. The five-seaters are worth less money.
