Vauxhall Cavalier

With its sleek, skip-like chassis and a design concept resembling something out of The Jetsons, it’s a wonder the folk at Vauxhall even felt the need to convince the public of the Cavalier’s pioneering, futuristic credentials. Sarcasm aside, we should remember that this was the mid-80s, a time when a wristwatch capable of changing the channels on a TV was considered tantamount to witchcraft. So we’ll let the ridiculous hyperbole of this one slide and simply bask in its nostalgic glow.
