It was at EICMA towards the end of last year, it got its first public outing in India at the India Bike Week in Goa and now, it's here: Harley-Davidson has just launched the Street 750 at the Delhi Auto Expo. For a staggeringly low price of Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Before you hurry off to find your cheque book, know that bookings will only commence from March 1.

The Street 750 is the smallest of the Harleys, but it is based on a platform that has been developed from the feet up. It's the 750, and not the 500, which means it employs a liquid-cooled 749cc 'Revolution X' V-twin motor that makes 65Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. No power figures as usual, but you at least know how much it weighs - at 218kg (with fuel), it's no featherweight, but it's not anywhere near as heavy as your traditional Harleys.

Perfect price for a small-capacity V-twin Harley? Make your opinions known in the comments section below, dotcommers.
