Honda freshens up the CB Shine

Honda's CB Shine, its trusty 125cc workhorse has soldiered on diligently for quite some time now. In order to give it a fresh lease of life, Honda 2-Wheelers India have decided to offer it with new body graphics on the side cover, fuel tank, front visor and rear cowl.

More importantly, the Shine's self-start variants now come with tubeless tyres both front and back, with the kick-start variant getting a tuff-up tube example. Also, the Shine is now available in two new shades - Force Silver Metallic and Monsoon Grey Metallic - to go with the existing black, grey and red.

Apart from these minor changes, the mechanical specs remain unchanged. Honda have decided to not tinker with the 125cc mill, with the motor still producing 10.12 bhp and 10.54Nm of torque.

In case the new stickers and metallic paint make you yearn for one, you'll be happy to know that the refreshed CB Shine is now available at your nearest Honda dealership, costing Rs 47, 804 (ex-showroom Delhi).

Does Honda's refreshed steed "shine" through? Have your say, TopGear.commers.
