Honda launching a new scooter at the Expo doesn't come as a surprise. After all, in this market of sluggish sales where every figure on the graph is heading south, the scooter market is the one which is still giving manufacturers their steady returns. What surprised us though is that Honda has entered the higher-capacity 125cc scooter market with the Activa 125.

The 124.9cc motor makes 8.6bhp and 10.12Nm of torque. The Activa 125 also comes with a features like Combi-Brake System (CBS), tubeless tyres, front disc (optional) and digital speedometer.

Another surprise is that Honda will start assembling its CBR 650F middleweight sports bike at its new plant in Gujarat. As the name suggests, the 650F will be powered by a 650cc inline-four motor that makes 86bhp and 63Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.

You will have to hold on to your cheque for a bit longer, as Honda plans to launch both these products in the first quarter of 2015.
