Launched: Moto Guzzi Bellagio
Rather fittingly, Moto Guzzi has slipped in its stealthy-looking streetbike
If you too have been wondering about Moto Guzzi's silent presence in India, you aren't the only one. Most people are not even aware of the Griso 1200 that was launched sometime last year, and again, Moto Guzzi has launched the Bellagio in our market.
The Bellagio is powered by a 935cc V-Twin that makes 74bhp and 78Nm of torque, and sends all that power through a six-speed gearbox to the rear wheel via a "compact reactive cardan shaft". In simpler terms, it is shaft-driven.
The bike weighs in at 224kg dry, is equipped with a 19-litre fuel tank, gets retro-themed wire-spoke wheels, Brembo brakes and suspension by Marzocchi.
If you do happen to want one, you can now place an order, but make sure you have Rs 15.2 lakh and more in your vault, because that's what the Bellagio costs ex-showroom, Delhi. And oh, it is only available in matte black. Not that we're complaining…
