A few months ago, Royal Enfield had launched a limited edition of the Classic 500 called Pegasus. To be honest, it was a smashing hit for the bike maker; 250 units of the special edition were sold in 178 seconds. Yes, 178 seconds. The Pegasus was inspired by RE/WD Flying Flea 125 which was used during the World War I. Now the bike manufacturer has launched a new variant of the Classic 350, christened the Classic Signals 350. The bike gets two new paint schemes which are inspired by the Indian armed forces, and also gets dual channel ABS – a first for Royal Enfield.

For those who are thinking that this is another limited-edition from Royal Enfield, then we have good news for you. Unlike the Pegasus, the Classic 350 will be sold through local dealerships as a series production model and not through their online portal in limited numbers. The Classic Signals 350 will sport a distinctive stenciled number on the tank representing the production number, making each motorcycle exclusive and one-of-its-kind.

Underneath the two new colours – Airborne Blue and Stormrider Sand, a blacked-out paint scheme on the engine, exhausts and wheels – the Classic Signals 350 is exactly the same as the standard Classic 350. The 346cc engine puts out 19.8bhp and 28Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. The motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox. Suspension duties are taken care of by a telescopic fork up front and twin shock absorber at the rear. It is equipped with a 153mm drum unit up front and disc brake at the rear. Of course, big news is the addition of ABS to the setup.

At Rs 1.61 lakh (ex-showroom), it is Rs 15,000 more expensive than the standard Classic 350. The Classic Signals 350 will be available with over 40 motorcycle accessories; from panniers t-shirts, you can tick a lot of boxes if you are willing to spend a little premium over its price tag.
