The Bajaj Avenger has been on sale for more than twelve years, and it has seen a fair amount of praise from everyone. Last month, Bajaj had launched the 220 cousins with some noticeable changes and now, Bajaj has unveiled the Avenger 180 Street.

The Avenger 180 will replace the existing 150cc motorcycle. In terms of design, the 180 shares design cues from the recently updated 220cc cousin. It gets roadster like design with LED DRLs.

It’s powered by a 180cc, 2-valve DTS-i block, which puts out 15.2bhp @8,500rpm and 13.7Nm of twist. The five-speed gearbox does the job of transferring the power to the back wheels. At 2210mm in length and 806mm in width, it is a tad bigger than the 220cc cousins. Bajaj has reduced the fuel tank capacity by one litre.

Other than its dimensions, the Avenger 180 shares the same chassis, same brakes and the same suspension setup.

Priced at Rs 83,475 (ex-showroom, Mumbai), the Avenger 180 is available in two colours –black and red.
