The TVS Apache RR310 arrives on...

...wait for it...

The wait has been endless, but the TVS Apache RR 310 -- the Akula to those still besotted with the bike showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo -- will be launched in India on December 6. That's a little over two weeks from now.

While the name (among other things) is yet to be confirmed, we expect TVS to go with the Apache RR 310 tag. What we can tell you for sure is that it is still very much based on the BMW G 310 R, sharing its 313cc single-cylinder motor, which, in the BMW, makes about 34bhp and 28Nm of torque, and is mated to a six-speed transmission.

We'll only have more details closer to the launch, but we can tell you it will be positioned lower than where BMW inte nds to place its 310s, and likely be priced to take the RC390s and the Dominars head-on.
