MV Agusta unveiled a limited edition of its naked sports bike called the Brutale 800 RR LH44. What’s so special about this specific Brutale? After co-developing the F4 for the Italian bike manufacturer, Lewis Hamilton got his hand on the Brutale 800. The fact that there will be just 144 units of the LH44 will be produced does make it a collector’s item.

In terms of design, there’s no major change from the standard 800 RR. But, being a limited edition, it needs to have something unique, right? The LH44 imitates the same colour scheme as the F4 LH44 with its black, red and white livery. This specific Brutale is equipped with carbon fibre components which makes even more exclusive than the bike it is based on. Also, the limited edition features the number ‘44’, which is the same number his F1 car sports.

Mechanically, it remains the same as the standard Brutale 800 RR. The three-pot, 800cc motor churns out 138bhp and 87Nm of torque, enough grunt to blast this machine to its top speed of 244kph. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. The RR sits on an ALS steel tubular trellis frame and uses Marzocchi USD forks at the front and progressive Sachs at the rear for suspension duties.
