Yep, embarrassed bikesmith, Riccardo Russo, held a three-bike lead over the second-place rider, but mistook the penultimate lap for the chequered flag.
His premature celebrations, which included some cast-iron classics like the air punch, self-cheer, and peg-stand, costs him the 2012 Italian CIV championship race, held in Mugello.
