Yamaha unveils the R15 version 2.0
The TopGear India bike of the year 2008 just got an upgrade. The newly facelifted Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0 (yes, the version number is a part of the title), now has a sportier performance and a few design upgrades.
Cosmetically, the new R15 now comes with a long aluminium swing arm, split step-up seats, wider front and rear tyres, LED taillights and a new design middle and tail cowl. The ECU and drivetrain unit have also been improved.
The Yamaha YZF-R15 version 2.0 comes in three color options (Sunset Red, Midnight Black, and Racing Blue) and is priced at Rs 1.07 lakh, ex-showroom Delhi. No word on the availability as of now, but we reckon it will be just in time for Diwali.
What do you guys think of the upgrades? Here's another official pic to get those thoughts rolling...

The back tyre has grown wider, such a relief
need some more power............
Time to show off!!!...
Just read Abhinav's article in november's issue, the new tyres make R15 2.0 a great looker but was expecting more power & bigger engine than just the bigger price tag.
