Apologies for the delay, but as the wise man once said – and what we latecomers have happily latched on to – better late than never. Topgear.com is finally here in its Indian guise, which, to be honest, is not very different in the way it looks and feels from our other international sister websites. But still, it is different when it comes to the content.
If you’ve been a TopGear reader for some time, you must’ve noticed how in the last couple of years, we’ve been featuring more real-world cars in the magazine without letting go of our inherent penchant for all things supercar. It is this logical mix of entertainment and information that we’ve tried to blend into the TopGear India website.
Just to take you through the site’s basics, we’ve got over a dozen channels to cater to news, TopGear car chooser, videos, wallpapers, social networking integration, contests and, of course, the magazine itself, to give you the complete virtual automotive experience that you expect from TopGear.com.
It’s not just automotive manufacturers who keep talking about how important India is to the world market. It’s us as well. India is the third country in the world after Australia and the US, to be featured on the parent domain TopGear.com. Exciting times for all of us.
