Harley-Davidson launches the Breakout, Street Glide Special and CVO Limited in India

Harley-Davidson Breakout:

This is the stunner in the Softail family. With its chopped fenders and low stance, the Breakout looks every bit the bike that Harley says takes inspiration from its 'Gasser' drag bikes from the '50s and '60s. The wheels on this thing are quite large - a 21-incher up front, and an 18-incher at the back, which, by the way, sits inside a gigantic, 240mm-wide tyre. You can even have one painted in 'Hard Candy Quicksilver Flake', which is a paintjob exclusive to this bike.

Powering it is a 1,690cc, air-cooled V-twin that makes 130Nm of torque, which should be enough to bless this 322kg (wet) H-D with immense acceleration. It also returns a claimed figure of 13.86kpl, but we reckon you'd have to ride with a wrist that understands the state of your bank account to get close to that figure.

Of the three bikes launched today, this is the only one that'll be assembled at Harley's plant in Haryana.

Price? Rs 16.28 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
