Honda Amaze: Value Car of the Year
India is one price-sensitive market. You can have the best product in the world, but if you price it wrong here, it’ll suffer on the sales charts. And Honda knows this very well. Following the Brio’s decent run since it was launched, the company didn’t waste time latching a boot on to the little hatchback and turning it into a family-size sedan. And it’s no shoddy job it’s done. The boot integrates well into the overall design and doesn’t feel out of place, as it does with some of its rivals.
And that boot is just one of the factors that spawned the army of Amazes we see on our roads today. The Amaze also managed the till-then-unheard-of – it combined ‘diesel’ and ‘Honda’ in one sentence.
