Lamborghini thunder at Buddh International Circuit
Yes, we know two Lamborghinis are better than one. Better still is a group of three and the fact that you have nothing less than an F1 track at your disposal. For those who thought that the twists and turns of a racetrack would expose the chinks in a Lamborghini's armour, well, think again.
The Buddh International Circuit, venue of the Indian Grand Prix, has been going full throttle with track days and Lamborghini India is the latest to join the bandwagon of car manufacturers wanting to prove their mettle to customers and wannabe customers with an almost no-holds-barred track experience at a pleasant winter morning. At our disposal was a white Gallardo 550-2 and a Superleggera 570-4.
The Gallardo is Lamborghini's best selling model to date. After a series of 5.2-litre V10 models, the rear wheel drive 550-2 was a wide departure from the Gallardos made. Still, the car has met with reasonable success.
