Mahindra Bolero Stinger on a Divine Quest
‘Pilgrimage’ – a word that either makes you cringe or conjures images of gods, temples and other places of worship, depending on your age and religious stand. As for us, our beliefs are based on things that are not as organised as religion.
With that clarified, here’s our account of the Bolero, which had the opportunity to use in just about any scenario we thought fit. And we took it for a pilgrimage. At least our version of it.
Now, pilgrimage destinations are usually visited by tourists who want to make a quick pitstop, mostly to mark attendance. Head straight for the temple, thank the gods or ask them for a favour and head back to your everyday lives. In doing this, what you miss is the rich culture of an ancient civilisation that has settled around those places of worship.
