Mahindra Bolero Stinger on a Divine Quest
Our task for the next day required us to drive around 160km to Hampi, our destination for this trip. But not before we put a bit of TopGear tradition to use first. Pushing the Stinger in populated towns is a strict no-no, so we decided to head to a secluded windmill farm on the Hubli-Hampi highway and make the Stinger live up to its name. And it did not disappoint, delivering endless rounds of deliberate drifts, skids and 180s thanks to the playful rear-wheel-drive.
With that out of our system, we drove straight to the small town of Hampi. Built on the banks of the Tungabhadra river, Hampi is packed with monuments that include ancient temples, ruins, temples that have now turned into ruins, and some incredible rock formations, which is what first caught our attention.
