Out in the country with Mini Cooper D Countryman
Inside the D’s cabin, the first thing that grabs your attention is the animated looking dashboard. This comprises an over-sized centrally-located speedometer, which houses some warning check lights, and a livelier version of BMW’s iDrive interface. The curvy appearance of the Countryman’s exterior carries through inside as well, with bits of the interior having no edges at all.
In place of buttons, there are loads of familiar fun-to-use toggle switches, for, among other things, cabin lights, sunroof, central locking. Your inner aeronautical geek will love the handbrake shaped like the thrust lever of a jet plane.
